In prototype manufacturing, trust and confidentiality are our top priorities. Healthy competition would not exist without the confidentiality of new developments especially when it comes to bringing new products to the market ahead of the competition. RPWORLD has stood for this for 14 years.
Even today, most especially when it comes to working together with a Chinese producer, there are unfortunately new customers who still feel suspicious.
As a Swiss partner of RPWORLD China, we travel several times a year to China especially to guarantee the issue of confidentiality. Every employee in our company with a Swiss legal status has signed a confidentiality obligation. In addition, a non-disclosure agreement is included in the RPWORLD Switzerland contract and is therefore a responsibility.
PROTOTYPES | Speed is a major factor when it comes to manufacturing prototypes. If we were not fast, we would not have survived. First-time customers are often concerned about the speed of delivery. This concern however only lasts up to the first delivery. As a result of globalization, we receive packages from China at least as fast as from a neighboring country, sometimes even faster. DHL and UPS do a very good job in this regard. Express delivery can be received within 2 days after shipment while normal delivery takes between 3 and 4 days.
Our offers always include the shipping costs and these are again listed separately. We have negotiated special contracts with our shipping partners, DHL and UPS so that we can keep the delivery costs to our European customers low and ultimately minimizing the impact on the total cost of a project.
SMALL BATCHES | For large projects which we can plan in advance and therefore have more available time, we ship the freight across the ocean to the Mediterranean. This takes a bit longer but has the advantage that we can also supply very large quantities at the lowest prices, which also makes us competitive in series production. The delivery time for sea transport is 40 - 45 days.
However, once a year there is a special festival in China which makes us only available on a limited basis. From late January to early February of every year, the Chinese celebrate the Chinese New Year. The exact date falls on a new moon between January 21 and February 21. During this time, production will be closed for up to 1.5 weeks depending on the date. However, we will inform you early enough in this regard.
Contrary to many regional opinions, there are also holidays and vacations in China. Except that these are different from those in Europe. Our production remains open during Easter, summer and Christmas holidays. This means you can relax on holidays while working on your project with the newly delivered prototypes.
